The Audi S4 may have looked a little like it was in need of a boost in its performance and some finishing touches in its visual appearances, which could be the reason why German tuning experts ABT Sportsline stepped in. The brand new tuning package that has been gifted to the Audi is titled the AS4.

The AS4’s work begins at the engine electronics. A brilliant sports exhaust system that has been incorporated into the S4 now ensures that the total output of the vehicle has been boosted from 328hp (333PS) to 429hp (435PS). And quite obviously, the peak torque too has obtained a significant lift, changing from 440Nm (328 lb-ft) to 520Nm (383 lb-ft).

The top speed achieved the AS4 thus far, after the introduction of the AS4 tuning kit, stands at 282kmph (175mph). In addition to engine performance enhancement, the tuning kit also adds a choice of alloy wheel designs in 19- and 20-inches with matching high-speed tires to go with them. This has been accompanied by a few extra visual enhancements as well – the front fender air vents, for instance.
