Hamann Motorsport Styles Up Porsche Panamera
After making a grand debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Porsche Panamera is back in the news. And this time it’s for the new body kit and a power boost that has turned the machine into a mean beast – all thanks to Germany-based Hamann Motorsport. The interior spells luxury all over, with the introduction of leather upholstery, Hamann aluminum pedals and alcantara.
Hamann has revealed that the new Panamera now possesses new fenders that are wider by 2.4 inches in order to accommodate the new 22-inch alloy wheels. In addition to that, the tuning house has introduced a new hood and a front fascia with giant air inlets. This helps in reducing aerodynamic lift while improving engine cooling at the same time.
Other enhancements to the visual appeal of the Panamera include new side skirts, a massive rear wing and a large rear diffuser. Apart from that, the Porsche now has lowering springs which reduces the car’s height by a significant 1.2 inches. The engine is now capable of developing 80 horsepower and 89 lb-ft of torque in excess of the standard model, owing to the new exhaust system and remapped ECU.
