Limited Edition Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package Priced at $70,000

Lexus planned to build only 500 models of the LFA supercars worldwide and that would keep its exclusivity well intact. But if you want to be the special one in this crowd as well, here is a new special Limited Edition Nürburgring Package of 50 units to satisfy your hunger for uniqueness.

Announced today with the price details for the US market, the limited edition Nurburgring Package has been tagged with a Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $70,000. The standard LFA carries a MSRP of $375,000 and with the package, it rises to a whopping $445,000 – or $465,000 if you’d like the optional $20,000 matte black paint job.

Apart from being the owner of one of these 50 exclusive models at this staggering price, you also get to add to your car a new and larger front splitter, dive planes and a fixed rear wing just like the race car. Also with an unique set of wheels, carbon fiber body kit, extra 10 horsepower (up to 562) from a tweaked version of the 4/8-liter V10 engine and faster six-speed sequential gearbox that reduces gear-shift time by 0.05 seconds to 0.15 seconds, the deal may sound fair to you.

“This Nürburgring Package builds on the track-ready Lexus supercar with styling cues from the 24 Hours of Nürburgring prototype LFA racecar,” said Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager. “Driving enthusiasts will also appreciate the Nürburgring Package’s performance enhancements that were proven on the legendary German track.”

The limited edition LFA with the Nürburgring Package offers four exterior color options that include whitest white, orange, black and matte black. Inside the owners may choose from three colors- black, red, and violet.
