BMW 1-Series will Debut at Paris Motor Show
The first front-drive BMW is all set to make its debut in concept form at the Paris Motor Show in September 2014. The car will share a platform with the forthcoming Mini redesign and will be powered by a 1.5 liter three-cylinder Mini engine. This model is based on the Mini’s five-door hatch and developed under the internal working name UKL.
This vehicle will be part of an increased number of 1-series models by the middle of the decade and is likely to be called the 1-series GT. The entry-level BMW is planned for production in late 2014 or early 2015.
